The original 455 CI engine was redone and runs perfectly, the M20 4-speed transmission is smooth shifting and the 10-bolt [BOP] rear end is 3:08 gears with Positraction. Car was built in the Flint Michigan plant and sold new at H.J foster Motors in Agincourt Ontario. Repainted in the original 13 code Platinum Mist Poly colour with a very high quality paint job and beautiful panel alignment. Only 337 of this model cars were sold in Canada in 1971 and with all the added options from the factory they ordered in this car it would be far less. Complete with GM historical society documentation and pictures of all the engine and transmission serial numbers. Some of these rare options include tilt steering, tinted glass, power windows and the 4-speed standard transmission. Stage 1 performance upgrades include the twin functional hood scoops, a hotter cam, larger valves, special high-compression/ported heads, and a modified Rochester Quadrajet 4-barrel carburetor. The restored interior is in beautiful condition and free of any tears, cracks or defects. All the chrome and trim on this car are in excellent condition. Power steering and power disc brake options on this Buick. All new steering, suspension, fuel, brake and body mounting bushings were installed during the restoration.
